Trained at the National Art School in Sydney, Neridah Stockley has been based in Alice Springs for 20 years. Her practice includes painting, ceramics and printmaking.
Neridah has been shortlisted as a finalist for many art prizes including; Gurguis New Art Prize, The Alice Prize, The Glover Prize, Adelaide Perry Drawing Prize, Calleen Art Award and Hazelhurst Works on paper.
‘Neridah Stockley – A Secular View’ developed by The University Gallery Newcastle is currently touring nationally.
Collections include; Macquarie Group, Kerry Stokes Collection, Artbank, Newcastle Art Gallery and Parliament House Canberra.
Neridah’s work is concerned with relationship to place and space. “It is through drawing and painting you get to know the bones of a place”.
