Annarie Hildebrand

Annarie Hildebrand is a Sydney base ceramic artist. Her art is an exploration of geometric shapes, forms and shadows cast by objects. She is continuously exploring ways to merge these two art forms to create a cohesive body of work. She draws inspiration from architectural forms, and the natural world.
Her art is a reflection of an inner world, a visual manifestation of thoughts and ideas. Annarie studied ceramics and printmaking at Sydney TAFE and completed her Advance Diploma in Ceramics in 2022. She has been selected as finalist in several prizes including the Ravenswood Womans’ Art Prize, Blacktown Art Prize, Hunters Hill Art Prize, and The Little Things art prize. She won the Lane Cove Art award (Drawing, Pastels or Prints) in 2019, the National Emerging Art Prize for ceramic in 2023 and received a Highly Recommended in the Hornsby Art Prize in 2023.
